Eternal Quest

Humans, it's what we call ourselves, starkly entitling ourselves to be the smartest beings on earth. What is it that makes the difference? Are humans really that big of a deal? Just roaming endlessly on earth or formulating scientific laws has not much of a variation, in my perspective. As, either way, we are still not altering the universe or the beautiful flow of time. The extent to which human thoughts expand is an undefinable beauty.  

But looking at our existence from a very minute standpoint, there is a lot of difference between other mortal species and humans. What could that be? Well again, the credits go to the beauty of human thoughts. But it just doesn't stop there. There's a lot more to being human. 
The raison d'être is what humans keep looking for. And, generations after generations, the mystery still remains unsolved. So then, did the hundred million lives that walked on the same land waste their lives all through time?


Perhaps no, apart from just being smart at sciences, humans have undeniable brilliance in understanding their own psychological patterns. And hence, many have successfully convinced themselves into living for a cause or just by patiently waiting for the Death Reaper to receive them. And the rest choose to remain hidden from this ideology and just live their life perfectly balancing themselves by not letting the universe bother them too much. 


This quest for the reason, for the objective of life, might never come to a pause. But is that the only thing our fickle mind really hunts for? Maybe not. We are constantly looking for innumerous things. Be it love, support or merely food, this endless forage only opens doors to greater insight to what humans are. Cursed with insatiable greed, we live in endless pursuit of life. We call ourselves: Humans.
